Northern Co-Hort

NEAT’s Northern Co-Hort is a farmer led, family farm support program. Our goal is to help local farmers explore soil health and work towards regional food security by working together to establish a robust, diverse regional food system in the Peace Region of BC.

Northern Co-Hort is based out of Fort St. John, BC and offers services to local farms in Charlie Lake, Rose Prairie, Farmington, Cecil Lake, and Hudson’s Hope among many others.  The Co-Hort focuses on both food production locally (access) and ensuring that farmers are able to make a living from their efforts.

Are you a producer? We’d love to meet you! We are a community of regeneratively-minded sustainable producers working together to enhance the Peace Region’s farming system. We offer hands-off sales at local markets, on-farm labour support and mentoring through our Eco Farm Skills program, skill-development workshops, informative events, and more!  If you’d like to join a group of farmers looking to improve our farming system, we would love to have you join us!

Want to buy local food and farm products? Our participating farmers produce high quality sustainable food and value-added products. Come find us at the Fort St. John and Charlie Lake farmer’s markets!
